![]() It's insanely comfortable to wear for me on the hip, allowing me to open easily with one hand and take out my M9 with 40mm and lens hood in one compartment and 75 summarit in the other. I think it really depends on what you're looking for. It dried out and was good as new - well, it was distressed to begin with, but didn't look WORSE ) I have used it in blizzards (where it got soaking wet and the inside stayed dry. I have had the bag as my daily shooter for six months now and haven't regretted it for a minute. The waxed canvas bag was a lot more my style (esp. Immediately I realized it was too heavy and the leather just didn't look as nice in person. I will second everything written down below, except for the "I wish I bought the leather one." After going back and forth dozens of times over which company and bag to buy, I walked into Adorama completely expecting to buy the leather version of the ona bag. I think the functionality and looks is what does it for me. I've had random people compliment on my bag not knowing it was a camera bag. I've carried the bag and camera whole days during vacations. Extremely fast to grab my camera and take a shot. I definitely had no problem with rain and I live in NL :-). Pockets are tight but good enough to carry my phone and battery. Squeaks disappeared on mine after some use. I often carry my case while skateboarding as well. The strap is secure and can withstand quite a bit of (ab)use. I sometimes carry the M9 with lens and a Nikon FM2 with a 50mm lens. I have the waxed canvas version which I've been using exclusively for well over 2 years now.įor me It's the best bag ever and It's been carrying my M9 with lens attached, and a 35mm or 50mm on the side. I'd thought about getting the Berlin II when I am in the US next month but won't. Generally a nice bag for the purpose - you need to be wanting to move small and light though and probably not a bag for really inclement weather. The back pocket is full width but has no closure and is not that deep due to the height of the bag: I'd be careful about putting much beyond a leaflet, map etc in there to be honest - certainly no iPads etc.It's a little heavy due to the materials.The end pieces that fold when you close the lid do not keep out anything rain wise etc.Pockets generally useless except for tiny things - end pockets especially useless. ![]() Worst part is the clips that hold the strap to the rings: too possible for them to undo on their own and a bit squeaky as you walk.Will take 2 M bodies or one M and a Q or one M and another lens (maybe 2 if they are small ones) Thought I would share my initial thoughts. I just picked up a used version in cognac leather.
